Students entering Years 3 - 6 in 2024 will be participating in the Patricks Road State School BYO iPad program.

The BYO iPad Program at Patricks Road State School is an integral part of the eLearning agenda that our school has established. Our school values the importance of being digitally connected with local and global communities. We are committed to supporting and empowering our students to maximise their full potential through the use of ICTs embedded within the eight Learning Areas of the Australian Curriculum.

The aims of the BYO iPad Program are to:

enable personalisation of student learning through access to rich learning resources,
facilitate the development of knowledge and skills necessary for the 21st century workforce, including digital-age literacy, innovative and creative thinking, effective communication and high productivity,
allow continuous access to educational materials allowing learning efficiency to happen anywhere, anytime,
provide an engaging, interactive environment for learning, and
strengthen links between home and school, giving parents the opportunity to see, every day, what their child is learning at school.

Please note that this policy works in conjunction with the Patricks Road State School Code of Conduct.
